LABOR GOVERNMENT GIVING THE ENDEAVOUR HILLS CRICKET CLUB THE BEST SPORT AND RECREATION FACILITIES

The Andrews Labor Government today gave a boost to the Endeavour Hills Cricket Club with the announcement of a $100,000 grant from the Community Sports Infrastructure Fund to upgrade cricket facilities at the Sydney Pargeter Reserve.

Announcing the grant today, Member for Dandenong, Gabrielle Williams, said the funds would ensure the Endeavour Hills Cricket Club had the use of new, top quality playing surfaces.

Four cricket ovals will be reconstructed by re-levelling the ground, converting to warm season grass, improving drainage and installing synthetic pitches.

The Labor Government’s Community Sports Infrastructure Fund is giving communities all over Victoria the state-of-the-art sport and recreation facilities they deserve.

Grassroots sports clubs are the lifeblood of Victoria’s suburbs and towns. The Labor government is listening to communities, who say they need better sport and recreation facilities to attract more members and grow.

Victoria is the sporting state and the Labor Government wants it to stay that way. The Community Sports Infrastructure Fund is helping clubs update tired grounds and build the facilities they need.
