The Allan Labor Government is making sure every Victorian student has access to a world-class learning environment close to home – with more tech schools to be opened across the state.
Member for Dandenong, Gabrielle Williams has today revealed the architectural renders of Dandenong Tech School, showing students what to expect when they are completed in 2026.
Dandenong Tech School at Chisholm Institute’s Dandenong campus and will provide unique learning environments that inspire students to pursue STEM study and career pathways.
Students will receive free bus transportation from their schools, to participate in immersive high-tech programs at the local Tech School.
Unlike the tech schools of the past, these new training opportunities will be offered alongside regular schooling, so students don’t have to choose between the two.
The education centre reflects industry environments and students will be empowered to offer their own solutions to real-world problems.
Dandenong Tech School will provide 13,500 students from 23 local secondary schools with inspiring, innovative, and hands-on STEM learning experiences.
Dandenong Tech Schools is one of six new Tech Schools being rolled out across the state, with the first of these – Frankston Tech School – on track to welcome students next term.
The Tech School in Dandenong will be completed in the second half of 2026, along with Tech Schools in Brimbank, Hume, Wangaratta and Warrnambool.
