UPGRADE AT DANDENONG PRIMARY SCHOOL

Students at Dandenong Primary School will soon benefit from better buildings, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.

Member for Dandenong, Gabrielle Williams, visited the school to announce it will be receiving $400,000 planned maintenance funding. The funding will be used to undertake structural and foundation works in the school’s administration building, install a new access ramp to the courtyard, and upgrade the storm water system.

The redevelopment at Dandenong Primary School is one of more than 100 building works planned under the Government’s Planned Maintenance Program, which is providing $24 million in funding to schools for specific buildings and infrastructure upgrades.

The Government is investing $2.5 billion in better classrooms, upgraded facilities and new schools across the state.

Victoria’s school building boom has delivered more than 1,000 school upgrades and 56 new school projects across the state, supporting almost 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
