The Andrews Labor Government is putting Dandenong families first by building state-of-the-art new sports facilities.<\/p>\n

Member for Dandenong, Gabrielle Williams MP, announced today that Greaves Reserve is set to benefit from the Labor Government\u2019s Community Sports Infrastructure Fund <\/em>by receiving a $100,000 grant.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This investment will be provided to the City of Greater Dandenong to help fund the installation of new 200 lux floodlighting at Greaves Reserve. The lights will be installed at the rugby and soccer pitches to the south of the Alan Carter Pavilion.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n South Eastern Titans Rugby League Club and White Star Dandenong Soccer Club will benefit from the upgrade. The improved floodlighting will allow both local clubs to maximise the use of their grounds and offer more opportunities to kids and adults of all ages to take part in organised sporting activities.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Grassroots sports clubs are the lifeblood of our suburbs and towns. They are where communities get together, locals embrace healthy and active lifestyles and kids enjoy special memories that stay with them for life.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Victoria is the sporting state, and it doesn\u2019t happen by chance.
