Another business in Dandenong South is benefiting from an energy assessment grant it received as part of Victorian Government\u2019s $6.1 million Boosting Business Productivity Program.<\/p>\n
Member for Dandenong, Gabrielle Williams, said local bottle cap manufacturer, Caps & Closures, had identified potential savings of up to $12,000 a year following a recent energy assessment of its business funded through the program.<\/p>\n
Caps & Closures is now working with an experienced energy consultant to further identify potential energy efficiency improvements, review pricing tariffs, and suitable renewable energy options.<\/p>\n
Since the program was launched by the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Lily D\u2019Ambrosio, grants have been awarded to more than 60 businesses across Victoria to co-fund energy efficiency assessments.<\/p>\n
The program, delivered by Sustainability Victoria, supports businesses with three different efficiency grants, a sustainable finance service, training events, and information resources.<\/p>\n
The Energy Assessment Grants are open to businesses spending more than $20,000 a year on energy.<\/p>\n
