{"id":8504,"date":"2018-09-03T09:47:42","date_gmt":"2018-09-03T09:47:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gabriellewilliams.com.au\/dev\/victorian-businesses-awarded-energy-assessment-grants\/"},"modified":"2024-08-06T21:28:47","modified_gmt":"2024-08-06T21:28:47","slug":"victorian-businesses-awarded-energy-assessment-grants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gabriellewilliams.com.au\/dev\/victorian-businesses-awarded-energy-assessment-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"VICTORIAN BUSINESSES AWARDED ENERGY ASSESSMENT GRANTS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bombardier Transportation in Dandenong South has recently been awarded a grant to help reduce its energy usage under the $6.1 million Victorian Government\u2019s Boosting Business Productivity Program.<\/p>\n<p>The program, delivered by Sustainability Victoria, supports businesses with three different efficiency grants, a sustainable finance service, training events, and information resources.<\/p>\n<p>Since the program was launched by the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Lily D\u2019Ambrosio, grants have been awarded to more than 60 businesses across Victoria to co-fund energy efficiency assessments.<\/p>\n<p>Member for Dandenong, Gabrielle Williams, said Bombardier Transportation has identified potential savings of up to $52,000 a year through an energy assessment of its business.<\/p>\n<p>Bombardier Transportation is now working with an experienced energy consultant to further identify potential energy efficiency improvements, review pricing tariffs, and suitable renewable energy options.<\/p>\n<p>The Energy Assessment Grants are open to businesses spending more than $20,000 a year on energy.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the program, please contact Sustainability Victoria\u2019s Sustainable Business advisors on 1300 363 744 or email <a href=\"mailto:grants.enquiries@sustainability.vic.gov.au\">grants.enquiries@sustainability.vic.gov.au<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bombardier Transportation in Dandenong South has recently been awarded a grant to help reduce its energy usage under the $6.1 million Victorian Government\u2019s Boosting Business Productivity Program.
