LABOR PUTS RUNS ON THE BOARD FOR ENDEAVOUR HILLS CRICKET

The Endeavour Hill Cricket Club has scored an Andrews Labor Government grant to install a new electronic scoreboard.

Member for Dandenong, Gabrielle Williams, announced at the 2017-18 Season Launch that the club would receive nearly $40,000 for the scoreboard at Sydney Pargeter Reserve in Endeavour Hills.

Victorian sports clubs are the lifeblood of our towns, and they deserve modern, safe facilities.  The Endeavour Hills Cricket Club boasts 15 teams across juniors and seniors, while running a Milo In2Cricket program as well.

The new scoreboard will feature an LED screen, making it easier for the Eagles to keep track of runs on the board and also reduce the burden on volunteers during the summer months.

The Andrews Labor Government is upgrading and building new sporting facilities across the state to keep our reputation as the nation’s sporting capital.

By building modern and accessible grassroots sports facilities, we are supporting people of all ages – and all abilities – to embrace a more active and healthy lifestyle.
