CREATING JOBS AND INFRASTRUCTURE IN DANDENONG

The Andrews Labor Government is working to create jobs in Dandenong, with a $165,000 grant to kick-start planning for the Dandenong National Employment and Innovation Cluster.

Funding to Dandenong will go towards a study to identify the Cluster’s strengths and opportunities for improvement as an employment hub, looking at job creation, transport connections and amenity.

The funding is part of the Streamlining for Growth program, to improve planning in growth areas and help them flourish.

The Labor Government is investing $24 million into the Streamlining for Growth program over four years, to fund initiatives that will boost new affordable housing, jobs and infrastructure.
