CONSTRUCTION ABOUT TO START ON DANDENONG HIGH SCHOOL UPGRADE

Students at Dandenong High School are a step closer to having the facilities they deserve, with construction on a $3 million upgrade due to get underway shortly.

Member for Dandenong, Gabrielle Williams, today announced that HLC Constructions has been awarded the construction contract, with work now due to get underway.

The $3 million project will completed Stage 4 works at the school, which includes the refurbishment of the library and senior study spaces.

The Andrews Labor Government is building the Education State so that every Victorian students gets the opportunity for a great education and every community has access to a great school.

The project is part of a $2.5 billion investment by the Labor Government to improve classrooms, upgrade facilities and build new schools across the state.

This school building boom has created more than 1,000 school upgrades and 56 new school projects across the state, supporting almost 5000 construction jobs to ensure all Victorian families have access to a great school no matter where they live.
